We provide long-term psychotherapy that, if necessary, can span several years. In long-term psychotherapy, the patient usually has more than one appointment per week and the process aims to identify and process issues more extensively. Long-term therapy is particularly necessary when the patient needs more time to feel safe and understand the bigger picture of their situation.

The duration of psychotherapy varies according to the patients’ needs. On the first appointment, the patient’s situation is discussed and the psychotherapist assesses the need for therapy. Based on the assessment, the therapist plans the appropriate treatment, after which the therapist and patient agree on follow-up measures.
